  • Usain St. Leo Bolt is a Jamaican sprinter and a five-time World and three-time Olympic gold medalist.
  • He holds World and Olympic records in 100 metres, the 200 metres and 4x100 meters relay.
  • His 200 m gold medal won at the 2002 World Junior Championships made him the youngest ever gold medalist at that time.
  • In 2004, he became the first junior sprinter to run the 200 m in less than 20 seconds with a time of 19.93 s at CARIFTA Games.
  • He was born on August 21, 1986 in Sherwood Content, Jamaica.
  • He is nicknamed 'Lightning Bolt'.
  • He finished Men's 200m event at a mark of 19.32, he recorded the Seasonal best and has won the London 2012 Olympics Gold Medal.
  • Usain Bolt ran his last competitive race at the London World Championships. His last individual race was 100 metres that he ran on August 5, 2017. He finished with a bronze in that race. On August 12, 2017 Bolt ran his final competitive race. His career ended in drama as he pulled up with injury on the anchor leg of his very last race, the 4x100 metres relay final.
